HDFC Life Insurance re-appoints Vibha Padalkar as MD & CEO

Ms Vibha Padalkar has been re-appointed as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited with effect from September 12, 2026. Meanwhile, Niraj Shah has been re-appointed as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer of the company.

Ms Vibha completed her chartered accountancy course with the CA Institute in England & Wales and moved back to India in 1993.

Niraj has been associated with HDFC Life since February 2019 and oversees Finance, Product development and Process excellence. He has over two decades of experience in financial services, primarily in life insurance, corporate finance advisory and audit. Prior to joining HDFC Life, Niraj was associated with PNB MetLife, ICICI Prudential Life, EY and BNP Paribas.
