Muthoot Finance Ltd appoints George Alexander Muthoot as Vice-Chairman

George Alexander Muthoot has been appointed as Vice Chairman and Whole-Time Director while Alexander George has been appointed as Managing Director of Muthoot Finance Limited with effect from October 1, 2026. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Alexander George, has over three decades of leadership and is credited with expanding Muthoot Finance into India's largest gold loan-lending enterprise.

Meanwhile, Eapen Alexander has been appointed as Whole-Time Director with effect from October 1, 2026. Besides, George Muthoot Jacob and George Muthoot George have also been re-appointed as Whole-Time Directors with effect from December 15, 2026. George Jacob has is a civil engineer and is a member of the Trivandrum Management Association, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Trivandrum), and the Trivandrum Agenda Task Force.

Separately, Joseph Korah has been re-appointed as an Independent Director of the company with effect from August 31, 2026.
