Secretary-rank officer to steer Commission Secretariat

The Tribunals Reforms Act, 2026 provides that the Central Government shall appoint an officer of the rank of Secretary to the Government of India as the Secretary of the National Tribunals Commission. The Secretary shall head the Secretariat and exercise such administrative and financial powers of the Commission as may be prescribed.
