Seven IPS officers have been given new responsibilities in Karnataka. Shantanu Sinha has been appointed as DIGP, Criminal Investigation Department, while Mrs G Sangeetha takes over as SP, Criminal Investigation Department and Laxman Nimbargi is now SP, Vijaypura. Similarly, Chennabasavanna Langoti is posted as Director, Karnataka Police Academy, Mysuru; Abdul Ahad as Director, Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Security and Vigilance), Bengaluru; Pruthvik Shankar as SP, Yadgiri and Shivanshu Rajput was shifted as SP, State Crime Record Bureau, Bengaluru.
