Five IPS officers have been given new assignments in Tamil Nadu. Rajeev Kumar has been appointed as DGP/Chief Vigilance Officer, TN Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Ltd., while K Vannia Perumal takes over as DGP, Railways, Chennai and Mrs S Mallikha is now IGP/Director (Investigation), State Human Rights Commission. Besides, Abhishek Dixit joins as IGP, Traffic & Road Safety, O/o DGP (HoPFF) on promotion as IGP and A Muthtamil will take over as SP, Civil Supplies CID.
