POWERGRID has been honoured with the CBIP Award 2024 for "Best Performing Power Transmission (System) Utility" at a ceremony held at the SCOPE Convention Centre. This recognition highlights the company's excellence in power transmission. The award was received by R K Tyagi, CMD POWERGRID in presence of Subir Sen, ED (HVDC), Adish Kumar Gupta, ED (Corp. Comm. & Law) and team. R K Tyagi, CMD POWERGRID was also awarded with the prestigious CBIP Individual Award for Outstanding Contribution towards Development of the Power Sector. Tyagi dedicated the award to POWERGRID project teams working across the country and overcoming challenges. Pradeep Singh Chauhan, Chief Manager, POWERGRID was awarded with the CBIP Young Engineer Award (Below 35 years of age) for outstanding contribution towards development of Power sector.
