The Karnataka government has modified the transfer orders of some IPS officers who were posted earlier. Chandragupta is now posted as IGP, Intelligence, while Y S Ravi Kumar is shifted as IGP, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Shantanu Sinha will take over as DIGP, Northeastern Range, Kalaburagi. Similarly, Dr Gopal M Byakod is appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Bengaluru South; Jitendra Kumar Dayama will continue as Superintendent of Police (SP), Anti-Naxal Force, Udupi; Mithun H N was appointed as DCP, Law andOrder, Mangaluru City and Dr Simi Mariam George will continue in the post of Joint Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Bengaluru.
