NLC India Ltd awarded for communications and transparent governance (UPDATED)

NLC India Limited, was awarded 3 National Awards by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) at the 47th All India Public Relations Conference held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand from December 13th to 15th, 2025 under the theme “Empowering Growth, Preserving Roots.” The prestigious awards - 1st Place in the category “Best e-Newsletter (for excellence in information exchange using modern technology), 1st Place in the category “Best PSU Implementing RTI (for ensuring administrative transparency)” and 2nd Place in the category “Best Annual Report (for clearly explaining the company’s operations) - were presented by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami along with the National President of PRSI, Dr. Ajit Pathak and Dr. PLK Murthy, Secretary-General, PRSI. Earlier, on November 28, 2025, at a state-level PRSI award ceremony held in Chennai, the company’s Corporate Communication Department (CCD) won three awards in the PSU category, viz., Gold in “Digital Video” category, Silver in “Television Advertisement Video” category and Bronze in “House Journal in Tamil” category These awards were handed over to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NLC India Limited, Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, at the Corporate Office in Neyveli on December 18, 2025. Samir Swarup, Director (Human Resources), was also present and commended the winning officials. Congratulating the Officials of Corporate Communications Department, the Right to Information Cell and the Finance team, CMD Prasanna Kumar Motupalli proudly stated: "Winning the national award for the effective implementation of the Right to Information (RTI) Act for 12 consecutive years is a monumental achievement. Also, achieving consistent accolades in the fields of communication and statutory financial reports is a testament to the company’s transparent administration. These awards reaffirm our company’s reputation and social responsibility at the national level."
