In a major bureaucratic shake-up late on Tuesday, the chief minister C. Joseph Vijay led Tamil Nadu govt transferred several senior IAS officers. Among those transferred are former Chennai district Collector Rashmi Siddharth Zagade who has been posted as Special Secretary to govt, Higher Education Department.

Others affected include- Har Sahay Meena principal secretary/vice-chairman Science City to principal secretary/commissioner, Land Reforms, Ajay Yadav MD, Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Ltd to Commissioner Milk Production and Dairy Development and also hold additional charge of TN Co-operative Milk Producers Federation (Aavin).

Dr J. Vijaya Rani MD Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation to Director Horticulture and Plantation Crops, P. Kumaravel Pandian Director, Horticulture and Plantation Crops to Member Secretary, State Planning Commission, P. Rathinasamy, for district Collector, Ariyalur to Director, Technical Education, Dr. R. Sukumar, former district Collector, Tirunelveli to Director Stationary and Printing.

The following officers have been transferred and their services have been entrusted to the following departments for postings- A. John Louis Director, Milk Production and Dairy Development and MD Aavin MD, Warehousing Corporation, Dr. S. Visakan, Director Technical Education to vice-chairman, Science City, V. Sivakrishnamurthy Dy. Commissioner, Works, Greater Chennai Corporation to Joint MD, TN Water Supply and Drainage Board, Selvi R. Anamika Joint Commissioner, Municipal Administration to Joint MD, TN Urban Habitat Development Board, T. Anbalagan, former Director, Sugar and MD, T.N. Sugar Corporation to T.N. Maritime Board, Dr. J.U. Chandrakala, former Collector, Ranipet to T.N. Cements Corporation.
