The Uttarakhand govt transferred four IAS officers on Wednesday.  Vinod Kumar Suman (IAS-2007) has been appointed as Project Director, Uttarakhand Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Project (U-PREPARE). He will also hold the charge of Secretary, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation, and Secretary of the State Disaster Management Authority.

Others affected in the reshuffle are-  Saurabh Gaharwar (IAS 2016), Additional Secretary, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation, Uttarakhand to Additional Secretary, Medical Health and Family Welfare Department.

Ms. Jharna Kamthan (IAS- 2016), Additional Secretary, Rural Development, and Project Director, Uttarakhand Gramya Vikas Samiti – REAP (UGVS-REAP) has been entrusted with the additional charge of Drinking Water Department, and Director, Swajal.

Prakash Chandra (2017) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department. He will also serve as Additional Secretary, Social Welfare Department and  MD, Multipurpose Finance and Development Corporation.
