In a major administrative rejig, Madhya Pradesh government reshuffled 29 IAS officers and assigned them new responsibilities. Sanjeev Singh has been posted as Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare Department, while Karmaveer Sharma was appointed Divisional Commissioner, Bhopal Division.
Similarly, Babu Singh Jamod is posted as Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department; Shailendra Singh as Divisional Commissioner, Rewa division; Mukesh Chand Gupta as Principal Secretary, Jail Department with additional charge as Member, Revenue Board; Dr E Ramesh Kumar as PS, Revenue Department with additional charge of Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner; Vivek Kumar Porwal is shifted as PS, Mineral Resources Department; Deepak Singh as Secretary, Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission; Amit Tomar as Managing Director, Energy Development Corporation, with an additional charge as Commissioner, New and Renewable Energy.
Further, K C Gupta, ACS, Cottage and Rural Industries will hold additional charge as Agriculture Production Commissioner; Aniruddha Mukherjee, Chairman, Board of Revenue, Gwalior, takes on additional charge of Environment Commissioner and Director General, EPCO; Gulshan Bamra, PS, Tribal Affairs, will also handle charge of Scheduled Caste Welfare Department; Sonia Meena, Additional Secretary, Finance, gets the additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Director of Institutional Finance.
Besides, Neha Marvya Singh has been posted as Commissioner-cum-Director of Horticulture and Food Processing; Manoj Pushp as Director, Public Health and Family Welfare; Rohit Singh as Director of Budget; Harshika Singh as Additional Secretary, School Education Department and Bharti Jatav Ogre takes charge as Commissioner, Accounts and Treasuries.
