Guessing game about the new Finance Secretary has started in the corridors of power. Will the next FS be appointed from the 1987 batch or some 1985 or 1986 batch IAS officer will be brought to the post after the retirement of A B P Pandey in February ? One thing is certain that the puzzle of this ticklish question will be solved by the PM only.
