Uncertainty prevails over the appointment of one Election Commissioner on April 13. It is said in view of the ongoing Vidhan Sabha elections, new EC can’t be appointed. Constitutional experts say there is no such bar as such and the Member can be appointed. One post is falling vacant following the superannuation of CEC Sunil Arora on April 12.
