Half dozen IAS officers in Punjab have been given new postings. Basant Garg has been posted as Administrative Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare and in addition Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, while Mrs Sonali Giri takes over as MD, PUNSUP and in addition Administrative Secretary-cum-Director, Civil Aviation and in addition Secretary, Revenue & Rehabilitation. Similarly, Kumar Amnit is posted as Special PS to the CM and in addition MD, MARKFED; Amit Talwar, MD, Punjab Health Systems Corporation, will also hold charge of Special Secretary, Good Governance & IT; Mrs Hargunjit Kaur gets additional charge of Special Secretary, Food Processing; Mrs Kalpana K was appointed as Additional Secretary, School Education and Gurinder Singh Sodhi is now Director, School Education (Secondary).
